Dear colleagues, 

The East Lake (EL) Conference 2026 on Low-Dimensional Quantum Materials
and Devices, jointly hosted by the Institute of Low-Dimensional Quantum
Materials at Hubei University of Technology and the Center for
Integrated Nanostructure Physics at Sungkyunkwan University, will be
held from August 21–26, 2026 in Wuhan, China.
This conference will highlight cutting-edge research and technological
advances in low-dimensional quantum materials and devices. It aims to
establish a high-level, diverse, and open platform for academic
exchange and international collaboration among scientists, researchers,
and students from around the world.
The program will feature in-depth discussions on recent breakthroughs
in low-dimensional quantum materials, key device technologies, and
emerging interdisciplinary directions. The conference is committed to
fostering new scientific discoveries and driving technological
innovation in this rapidly evolving field.
We expect approximately 400 participants, including Chinese
academicians and more than 60 leading experts from top universities and
research institutions worldwide. In addition to the main conference, a
summer school will be organized, offering both comprehensive and
focused lectures. Participants will enjoy scientific sessions during
the day, complemented by social and cultural activities in the scenic
East Lake area in the evenings.
A half-day opening ceremony for the Institute of Low-Dimensional
Quantum Materials at Hubei University of Technology will take place on
the afternoon of August 21, 2026, including a laboratory tour, followed
by a welcome reception in the evening.
